World number one Novak Djokovic has won the Indian Wells Open Tennis Men's Singles beating World No. 2 Roger Federer in the final. Djokovic of Serbia recovered from a second-set battle to beat the Swiss player Federer 6-3 6-7 (5-7) 6-2.Earlier, World No. 3 Simona Halep of Romania has defeated former world number one Jelena Jankovic of Serbia to win her maiden Indian Wells Open Tennis Singles title. Halep won the title beating the Serbian player 2-6, 7-5, 6-4. The win at the Californian desert is by far her biggest title of her career that comprises of total of 11 WTA titles. Halep had also won Shenzhen Open and Dubai Open in 2015.
