World Number One and defending champion Novak Djokovic began his bid for a record fourth successive ATP Dubai Open Tennis Championship title in style. In a one sided game, the Serbian outclassed German Cedrik-Marcel Stebe 6-4,6-2 in straight sets. In the other matches today , world number four Andy Murray plays German qualifier Michael Berrer in the first round, while 16-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer begins his 2012 campaign against Frenchman Michael Llodra. Federer has won the title four times earlier in 2003, 2004,2005 and 2007.
