<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">A district court in Patna today directed Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi to appear before it on April 12 to record his statements in the Defamation case filed against him by Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi. Mr. Modi filed a criminal complaint against Rahul Gandhi in 2019 over his alleged objectionable remark during a political campaign in Karol in April 2019. In his complaint, Sushil Modi alleged that it was a derogatory remark targetting people having the 'Modi' surname.</span></p>
