<span style="color: #222222;">The distribution of food articles to stranded migrants under Atamnirbhar Bharat Scheme was initiated from today in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The distribution work will continue till 15th of June.<br />'' <br />'' Under the scheme, five kilograms of Rice per person and one kilogram Chana per household to be distributed for the month of May and June.<br />'' <br />'' The scheme will cover those who are not covered under PDS system or do not provided with any ration card in Andaman and Nicobar.<br />'' <br />'' A list of those stranded migrants complied with the help of labour department, district administration and other valid source.<br />'' <br />'' In South Andaman district, the date-wise distribution of food articles is being done at 14 Government schools and two godowns of Civil Supply department.<br />'' <br />''The beneficiaries have been advised to bring AADHAR or government ID card for establishing their identity and strictly follow the norm of social distancing and cover their faces while collecting their articles.</span>
