The CBI has frozen the bank accounts of three companies of Kadapa Lok Sabha Member Jaganmohan Reddy in connection with the disproportionate assets case against him. The bank accounts in the State Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce belonged to Jagathi Publications, Indira Television Pvt Ltd and Janani Infra have been frozen under section 102 of the CRPC. A newspaper and a TV news channel are being run through these companies. The move has gained importance especially when Jaganmohan Reddy has been summoned to be present in the CBI Principal Special Judge Court on the 28th of this month.
