The US President Barrack Obama says bringing peace and security to Afghanistan and Pakistan remained the singular focus of his administration. In an interview, to a TV channel, he said dismantling and destroying militants bases in both the countries is the main focus of the US administration and the primary objective of its Afghan strategy. President Obama described the Afghan President Hamid Karzai as a critical partner in America's war against al-Qaeda. Obama said he is convinced Mr. Karzai is committed to achieve a strong, stable and prosperous Afghanistan.
