A meeting is underway in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to discuss the problems faced by Afghanistan and Pakistan.Apart from the foreign minister of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Jordan and UEA’s state foreign minister, the delegations from 40 nations and organisations including UN mission in Afghanistan and EU are attending the meeting.The US special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke is also attending the one day meet.The issues that are being discussed in the meeting include terrorism, humanitarian assistance to Pakistan as well as strengthening democratic institutions in Afghanistan. The meeting is taking place ahead of a major conference planned on 28th of this month in London to discuss Afghan issue.
