Resuming the discussion on the Finance Bill in the Lok Sabha, Kalyan Banerjee of Trinamool Congress wanted the government to accelerate development in the Naxal affected areas. The Shiv Sena member Ananth Geete wanted that the government to announce measures to tame food inflation so that the sufferings of the common man due to price rise are reduced. Dara Singh Chauhan of BSP said that the increase in the diesel price will affect the farmers. Jagdambika Pal of the Congress however said that the government had increased allocations for health, education and rural development and praised the government policies. <br/>
