Union Minister of State for Human Resources Development Dr Satya Pal Singh has said that an international-level conference could be organized to discuss and debate the Charles Darwin's theory of evolution and the theory could be deleted from Indian curriculum, depending on the outcome of the meet.<br/><br/>Talking to media persons on the sidelines of a meeting at IIT-Guwahati on Monday , Dr. Singh reiterated that the theory of evolution and natural selection propounded by Darwin was unsubstantiated by evidence and discarded by many prominent scientists worldwide. <br/><br/>Listing out names of scientists of global repute who have stood in opposition to Darwin's theory, the MoS said, the theory of evolution is not scientific.
