Home Minister Rajnath Singht has said that disaster risk can be reduced through regional and international cooperation. Addressing the Asian Ministerial Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said the conference has provided a platform not only to share the best practices but also arriving at a consensus to implement Sendai framework. <br/><br/>He said the Sendai Framework focuses on preventing new disaster risks, reducing existing disaster risks and strengthening disaster resilience. AIR correspondent reports 51 countries and 9 UN Organisations participated in the conference.
