The Directorate of School Education, Jammu announced winter vacations in winter zones of Jammu division in a phased manner from December 11 to February 29 in all Government and recognized private schools. The Directorate said that the classes up to 8th standard will observe the vacations from December 11, 2023 to February 29 2024 while 9th to 12th standard classes will observe the vacations from December 18 to February 29. It further said that the Chief Education Officers of the concerned districts will ensure online classes for Class 10th and 12th through CRC's and the teaching staff will report back to their respective schools on February 21 so that they remain available for making arrangements regarding preparation of ensuing examinations. All the teachers will remain available on demand for any online guidance of students during the vacation period.
