<span style="color: #222222;">Directorate General Home Guards (DGHG) today celebrated its 75th  Raising Day in New Delhi. On this occasion, a ceremonial Parade consisting of Six platoons of Marching Contingents with Two platoons of Band was organized. DGHG IPS Sandeep Goel reviewed the parade. He lauded the efforts of Home Guards for their selfless dedicated services with Delhi Police, Delhi Transport Corporation and other departments.<br />''<br />''Mr. Goel said, the department are helding various professional courses related to Disaster Management at Central Training Institute of DGHG to sharpen the professional skills of Home Guards and Civil Defence Volunteers. He said, Environmental Marshal Training is being conducted for Home Guards to contribute in fight against pollution in Delhi, and so far three thousand 756 Volunteers have been trained. He said, the tenure of Home Guard volunteers has been extended to December next year instead of March 2022. </span><br />
