<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Director of Social Welfare Department in Kashmir Bashir Ahmed Dar today listened to people's grievances during My Town, My Pride Programme (MTMP) held in Srinagar.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the occasion, a large gathering of citizens participated and put forth their grievances and raised several other issues related to Building permissions, Birth and Death Certification, works and other allied functions of the Municipal Corporation.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While interacting with the people, the visiting officer said that the main aim and objectives of the programme is to strengthen a bond between the government and the people and the public outreach with for service delivery at door steps.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The focus during the programme remained on spot grievances redressal, instant delivery of services to the masses and speedy execution of people centric projects on the ground. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The officers from the line departments had set their camps and gave patient hearing to them with the assurance of prompt redressal.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Departments of Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture, Handloom, Handicrafts, Social Welfare, Revenue, Education, Housing Board and Floriculture disseminated information with respect to various schemes of their departments through stalls.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A special awareness programme on COVID-19 was also held by the officials of the Health and Social Welfare Department.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the programme, the visiting officer also distributed several sports kits among the various clubs and government institutions of Srinagar District sponsored by Youth Services and Sports Departments.</span><br />
