Director General of NCC says, number of Cadets participating in Republic Day Camp scaled down

Director General of National Cadet Corps, NCC Lt. General Tarun Kumar Aich has said that in view of the Covid-19 situation, this year the number of Cadets participating in the Republic Day Camp has been scaled down and only one thousand Cadets are participating in this Camp in Delhi.<br />'' <br />''Talking to AIR News, Lt. General Aich said that the strength has been reduced to 50 per cent as over 2000 Cadets usually participate in the NCC Republic Day Camp. He said, around 250 Cadets will participate during Republic Day Parade on 26th January. He said, however, NCC band will not perform this year as the Cadets are below 18 years of age.<br />'' <br />''The NCC Republic Day Camp, 2021 has commenced at the Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt on 4th January. It will culminate on 28th January with Prime Minister's Rally.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The aim of the Republic Day Camp is to provide the participating Cadets, an exposure to the rich culture and traditions of the country through a number of cultural events in the run up to the Republic Day and Prime Minister's visit to NCC Camp.</span><br />
