Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department has directed officials to observe cleanliness week in the hospitals across the State from 23 to 28 of this month. In a circular, the Health and Medical Education Department said that proper hygiene and maintenance of cleanliness in and around hospitals was extremely critical in preventing infections.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''The circular impressed upon all the Heads of all the health care institutions of the State that they shall observe a cleanliness week in the Health Institutions under their control, w.e.f 23.09.2019 to 28.09.2019 and conduct a cleanliness drive in and around these Institutions during this period. The circular reads that the drive shall be got conducted under their proper supervision and under the supervision of the Medical Superintendents/Chief Medical Officers/Block Medical Officers across the State.</span><br />
