Diplomatic Advisor to the French President Emmanuel Macron, Emmanuel Bonne on Thursday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. On this occasion, Mr Modi highlighted the close cooperation between India and France in various domains of their strategic partnership, including defence, security, and the Indo-Pacific. He also welcomed France's support for India's G20 Presidency.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Bonne conveyed President Emmanuel Macron's message of friendship to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and briefed him on the Strategic Dialogue with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, held earlier during the day. Discussions were also held on other areas of mutual interest and cooperation including energy and culture.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier, Mr Bonne met with External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar. They had a useful exchange of views on current issues of mutual interest.<br />''
