Ace Indian woman squash player Dipika Pallikal has been nominated in the 'Young Player of the Year' category of the fifth annual World Squash awards to be held in London on 28th of this month. The 18-year-old Pallikal has been nominated for the award along with Kanzy Emad El-Defrawy, Nour El Sherbini and Nour El Tayeb of Egypt, Amanda Sobhy of USA and Maria Toor Pakay of Pakistan.Pallikal clinched the prestigious Junior British Open title last year and has won the German Open, Dutch Open, French Open, Australian Open, Scottish Open on the European Junior Squash Circuit. She is currently ranked 48th in the world and is currently participating in the World Super Series event Qatar Classic Open in Doha.
