The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till noon following uproar on various issues. As soon as the House began, the CPIM and Shiv Sena members trooped into the well of the House, shouting slogans. The CPIM members demanded Right to Food Security and a fair and efficient public distribution system. The Shiv Sena members displayed newspapers reports and photographs on the incidents in Mumbai related to the violence in Assam. The Opposition BJP members also shouted slogans, demanding a reply from the Home Minister. As the din continued obstructing the proceedings, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House till noon.
