In Uttar Pradesh, Dimple Yadav wife of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav of ruling Samajwadi party today filed her nomination papers for Kannoj Parliamentary by-election. This by-election was necessitated after resignation of Akhilesh Yadav from Lok Sabha. Our correspondent reports that most of the major political parties including BSP, BJP and Congress had not declared their candidate for this by election.
