Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor's ancestral homes in Pak to get heritage

The ancestral homes of film stars Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar will be given the status of national heritage sites.

This was disclosed by Information Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province Mian Iftikhar Hussain yesterday. He said, both actors were a source of pride as they were born in Peshawar and steps will be taken to protect their homes in the famous Qissa Khwani Bazar.

The minister directed the officials concerned to contact the current owners of the houses for their purchase by the government.
