Electronics, Information Technology and Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that digital technology and virtual communication tools have proved their extraordinary worth during challenging times of covid-19 pandemic.<br />'' <br />''Virtually speaking at India Mobile Congress 2020 today, Mr. Prasad said, all 2.5 lakh village panchayats in the country are to be connected with high speed broadband and all villages with optical fiber connectivity in the next one thousand days.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Talking about the production linked incentive scheme for mobile manufacturing, he said, it has not attracted global investment but also led to creation of millions of jobs. He asked the manufacturers to tap and explore the enabling atmosphere available in the country and urged the manufacturers to manufacture and export from India. He said, emerging Digital Technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics  present a huge opportunity in India.</span><br />
