Digital revolution would increase tax compliance in country & eliminate corruption: Prakash Javadekar

Human Resources Development Minister Prakash Javadekar today said Digital revolution in the country would increase tax compliance in the country and eliminate corruption. He asked the youth to continue their efforts to educate people on digital payments modes. Addressing the National Convention on Digital Financial Literacy campaign, the Minister thanked the student volunteers for their hard work in spreading Digital literacy among people. The Minister said youth are the agents of change. <br/><br/>The HRD Ministry had launched the Digital Financial Literacy campaign in mission mode from 4th of November last year under which student volunteers created digital awareness among people. Students of educational institutions, including IITs, NITs, IIITs to educate people in their surroundings about digital transactions.
