Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday said digital revolution in the country is playing a key role in making the development process accessible, inclusive and transparent. Naqvi, who is Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs said digital revolution has helped in providing benefits of welfare services to the last person in the society without any hurdle. The minister was speaking at a conference of representatives of various cooperative and scheduled banks in Mumbai. <br/><br/>He said India is one of those few nations of the world where people have linked with the digital system in such a less span of time. Naqvi said The centre's Digital India campaign has connected the common man with the government offices. Services are reaching the needy through digital medium. The Minister said the government has set a target to connect 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats with national optical fibre network. <br/>
