Digi-Dhan Mela was organised at Jagdalpur to promote cashless transactions

In Chhattisgarh, a Digi-Dhan Mela was organised today at Jagdalpur, the divisional headquarters of Bastar, to promote cashless transactions.<br/>Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot inaugurated the Mela. It was fourth in a series of such fairs organised in the state. Addressing the function, the Minister said that Digital India campaign is aimed to curb corruption as well as black money.<br/>At the mela site, Government departments as well as Banks and private companies had put up stalls to educate people about e-wallets, Rupay card, USSD, UPI and EPS transactions.
