Cutting across party lines, leaders of different political parties have lauded the Indian Army's surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the Line of Control. <br/><br/>BJP President Amit Shah has said the surgical strikes are a signal of the rise of a new India where the government does not get cowed down by nefarious designs of terrorists. He said it has inflicted heavy damage on terrorists, without any casualty on the Indian side which reaffirms Army's valour and commitment to nation's security.<br/><br/>Congress President Sonia Gandhi said this is a strong message that conveys India's resolve to prevent further infiltration and attacks on its security forces and people. <br/><br/>Congratulating the armed forces on the successful operation, she offered her party's support to the government in country's battle against cross border terrorism. <br/><br/>Another party leader and former Defence Minister A K Antony also echoed similar view saying his party fully supports the action of the Indian Army. <br/><br/>Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kerjiwal said the entire nation is with the Army.
