Diesel will become dearer by 95 paise per litre from midnight tonight.The change is inclusive of state levies and will vary from state to state.Diesel will now cost Rs. 45.90 in the national capital.In Kolkata price will be Rs. 49. 52, in Mumbai Rs. 53.9 and in Chennai Rs. 47.7.At the last revision on 30th September, diesel price was cut by 50 paise.This is the second increase in diesel price in four months.However, there will be no change in petrol rates.Indian oil corporation said, the current level of the international prices and rupees-dollars exchange rate warrant a price increase, which is being passed on to consumers with this price revision.
