Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today launched customer awareness campaigns on cashless transactions at an IOC Retail Outlet in New Delhi.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mr Pradhan said through the digital awareness campaign, transition will be towards less cash and then towards cashless. He said in one month all retail outlets in Delhi will be covered under the customer awareness cum training programmes, and subsequently it will spread to across the country.<br/><br/>The Minister said in the first phase, all 53 thousand retail outlets in the country will be covered. The campaign will later cover all Gas distributors, LPG stations, bottling plants and other establishments.<br/><br/>The Customer Awareness Campaign focuses at spreading digital awareness and facilitating the common man to use Cashless payment options during day to day transactions.
