Dharmadhikari report recommendations announced; uniform pay policy for AI, IA employees

Civil Aviation minister Ajit Singh announced the recommendations of Dharhmadhkari report in New Delhi today.

Announcing the recommendations, Mr Singh said that Dharhmadhkari committee has recommended that the pay scale of the employe will be related to the profit earned by the company.

The report says that seniority and pay levels to be decided in 45 days. Mr Singh said, pilots will get their allowances as per the standards of the carrier after Cabinet Approval.

He said according to the report there will be an uniform pay policy for the employee of Indian Airlines and Air India. The minister said that four member committee to be formed to implement the recommendations of the report.

Talking about the ongoing strike of Air India Pilots, the civil aviation minister said demands of striking AI pilots to be looked into after they end strike unconditionally.
