The Dharmadhikari Committee constituted for examining the principle of pay and wage rationalization and restructuring between the employees of the erstwhile Indian Airlines and Air India submitted its repot to the Civil Aviation Minister Mr. Ajit Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday.
According to an official release, the Committee headed by a retired Supreme Court Justice was also assigned the task of examining the principle of integration across various cadre and determination of level and seniority of post-merged Air India.
The Report is expected to solve long-standing HR issues which remained inconclusive even after five years of the merger of Indian Airlines and Air India. The Aviation Ministry will examine the report and the future course of action will subsequently be decided.
