Dharia gets Indira Gandhi National Integration Award

Former Minister and Parliamentarian Mohan Dharia was today conferred the prestigious Indira Gandhi National Integration Award at a function in New Delhi. The award was presented by the UPA Chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was also present on the occasion. The award carries five lakh rupees in cash and a citation.

Earlier, Mr. Dharia, who is running an NGO in Pune, was conferred Padma Vibhushan for his outstanding contribution to strengthen national integration.
