Dhaka is planning to sign a MOU with Baghdad to facilitate exploring job opportunities for Bangladeshis in Iraq. Bangladesh’s Minister of Labour, Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Khanadaker Mosharraf Hossain who is on a tour to Iraq on Monday held discussions on the proposed MOU with Iraq’s Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Nassar Al- Rubaiee in Baghdad. According to the Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides agreed to form a joint committee to discuss and finalise the draft MOU which will be submitted to the respective governments for approval. Iraq’s Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Nassar Al- Rubaiee has agreed to visit Bangladesh and sign the MOU in Dhaka after it is finalized.
