Speaking on the occasion he said that India has always played a positive role in the development of culture in Bangladesh. He also mentioned that India and Bangladesh are jointly producing a film based on the life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.<br clear="all" />'' </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The Dhaka film festival this year is dedicated to the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to pay tribute on the occasion of his birth centenary. 225 films from 73 countries will be screened during the festival.<br />'' <br />'' In the  tribute section of the film festival this year,  films of legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray will be shown to pay respect to him in his centenary year.
