The Ministry of Commerce and Industry today said that the&nbsp;COVID-19&nbsp;Helpdesk started by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, DGFT has resolved 78 issues out of the 163 requests received seeking support, policy clarity and relaxations. The Ministry in a statement said, in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases, the&nbsp;COVID-19 Helpdesk from 26th April started collecting information on the difficulties so as to examine and resolve the irritants faced by the trade and industry expeditiously.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">It said, various issues relating to Department of Commerce, Import and Export Licensing Issues, Customs clearance delays, Import and Export documentation issues, Banking matters are the key areas being examined by the Helpdesk. The Ministry said, Industry can approach the&nbsp;COVID-19 Helpdesk for support and register their issues on the DGFT website. The Ministry said, Department of Commerce is committed to take up all such matters received on priority with other Ministries and Departments and State Governments.</span><br />
