The Director General of Civil Aviation has ordered an inquiry into a mishap at Mumbai airport following a pushback hit by Jet Airways aircraft to the stationary Kingfisher airlines aircraft early yesterday. The DG also ordered suspension of one ground personnel and de-rostering of two others involved in the incident. According to preliminary reports, the hit caused damage to the left horizontal stabilizer of the Kingfisher aircraft. An official release issued in New Delhi said the incident has been classified as serious incident.
