DGCA issues show cause notice to Kingfisher airlines

The Aviation regulator Director General of Civil Aviation ( DGCA) has issued a show cause notice to Kingfisher airlines asking why its flying license should not be suspended or cancelled. An official release on Friday said that the notice has been issued as the airline has failed to establish a safe, efficient and reliable service. Operations of Kingfisher airlines are under suspension since 30th of last month due to strike by its employees. The Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh has taken a strong note of the situation and said their will be no compromise on safety of Aircraft operations.

Meanwhile, the State Bank of India has said that the decision to release funds to the airline has been made on humanitarian grounds.
