The DGCA on Tuesday, grounded two charter planes for violating liquor laws at the Delhi airport. It expressed concern over security aspect of the issue. Official sources said, a nine-seater Gulfstream G-200, flying from Bangalore to Delhi, had a full-fledged bar filled with a large number of liquor bottles, while the other aircraft was a 14-seater Bombardier Global 5000 which came from Pune.Both the aircraft have been grounded for violating Aeronautical Information Circular which bans serving liquor on board domestic flights and the Delhi Liquor License Rules, apart from other safety procedures.
