DGCA, together with the domestic airlines and the passenger associations, will formulate a suitable frame-work to rationalise air-fares in the country.This was informed by the Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel after the first meeting of the Civil Aviation Economic Advisory Council in New Delhi this evening.Mr. Patel also added that though the airlines have responded to the advise to rationalise the recent passenger fares hike, the ministry is not satisfied with the present fare structure which needs to have transparncy and further simplification.
