Director General of the National Investigation Agency Sharad Kumar today reviewed the progress in Burdwan blast probe in West Bengal. The high level team of the NIA led by Mr. Kumar visited the blast site at Khaghragart where two persons died on 2nd of this month.

The team also visited a house in Badsahi Road near blast site in the district from where NIA officials recovered huge quantities of explosives and chemical materials.

The NIA Director General later went to Beldanga in Murshidabad District to visit the house where one of the dead terrorist stayed on rent.

The team also met the investigators to take stock of the progress in the probe. The Director General NIA will submit a report to the Union Home Ministry after returning to Delhi.
