Director General Border Security Force, K K Sharma visited Joint Check Post Attari in Amritsar to review the Operational situation on Punjab Border. He also interacted with officers and was briefed about various operational and administrative activities. Mr Sharma immensely appreciated the officers for containing the menace of trans border smuggling. <br/><br/>He cautioned them of the threats emanating from the forces inimical to our country and motivated them to perform their duties with highest degree of commitment to thwart the ill designs of these elements.<br/><br/>On the occasion of 71st Independence Day, he hoisted the Tri color in the premises of Sector HQ BSF Amritsar and urged all the officers to contribute in development of the country. Mr Sharma also presented sweets to Pak Rangers on the occasion.
