Railway Minister and Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee says, peace can be restored at Maoist infested Jungal Mahal in West Bengal through Developmental works only. She was inaugurating Jungal Mahal halt Station at Bhadutala in West Midnapur district of West Bengal on wednesday. Banerjee announced that Lalgarh will be connected with rail network and two industries will be set up in the region once peace is restored there. The Railway Minister flagged off Kharkpur-Purlia inter city express on the occasion. AIR correspondent Arijit Chakraborty reports from West Midnapur district that Banerjee also addressed a public rally where she strongly criticised the state Chief Minister Budhadev Bhattacharjee and said that her party will launch massive campaign demanding immediate withdrawal of Central force from Jungal Mahal. She warned that all her party MPs will sit in Dharna against the ruling CPIM torture on innocent people and her party works. Banerjee laid the foundation stone of the advanced Loco pilot training centre and few other rail projects at Kharagpur in the district.
