Bathing is continuing at Sangam in Allahabad on the occasion of Mauni Amawasya. According to Magh mela officer about seventy lakh people took holy dip at sangam and other Ghats of Ganga in Allahabad since morning.Several devotional and ritualistic programmes are also being organised at different camps. Fifteen bathing ghats have been made for today’s bathing.About five thousand police and PAC personnel have been deployed in Sangam area. Divers are also patrolling on boats for safe bathing. Langars are being organised for pilgrims in the sangam area.
