Devotees in India as well as across the world are eagerly awaiting for the historic occasion of the Pran Pratishthan of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. On the occasion, devotees at several places in the Sri Lanka are observing special Poojas. The Sita Amman temple at Sita Eliya which is believed to be the place where Goddess Sita was held captive by Ravana is one such place where devotees will participate in the special pooja. It is notable that a stone from Sita Eliya was sent to Ayodhya to be included in the Ram Temple in 2021. In addition, special prayers are planned at Saraswathy Hall in Colombo where the Pran Pratishtha programme will be viewed through DD India's broadcast. In addition, Chinmaya Mission at Colombo has also planned to have prayers and chanting of Stotrams for Lord Ram.
