Large numbers of devotees have been reaching Allahabad for Wednesday's Paush Purnima bathing. The Magh Mela officer N K Singh told AIR Allahabad correspondent that ten bathing Ghats on Ganga river are ready for holy dips including Sangam and it is expected that more than 15 lakh people will take dip at Sangam. Kalpwasis, who stay for whole Magh month, have also started arriving since this is first bathing day of Magh Month as per Hindu calendar. Security has also been beefed up. Boats are not allowed tomorrow on river for the safety of pilgrims. Heavy vehicles are prohibited in Mela area.
