<span style="color: #222222;">The Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Devendra Fadnavis today demanded financial assistance of 23 thousand crore rupees for farmers affected due to unseasonal rain in the state. He was addressing a press conference ahead of the commencement of the Winter Session of the Assembly in Nagpur. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The BJP leader said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had already asked for 25 thousand rupees per hectare of financial assistance, hence he should fulfil his promise and provide aid of 23 crore rupees to the affected farmers.<br />'' Fadnavis also pointed out the delay in the formation of Maharashtra cabinet and said that there is non-communication between the three parties of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said the Winter Session would not be able to address public issues as the portfolios allotted to the ministers are not final. He boycotted the customary tea party being hosted by the Chief Minister in Nagpur this evening.</span><br />
