<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, development would be the main poll agenda for the ruling BJP. Party's National General Secretary and MP Dilip Saikia told AIR that the party would seek vote on the basis of development works.  Mr. Saikia said, BJP led government has done tremendous development works in the state during the last 5 years . Mr. Saikia also mentioned that party would give tickets to candidates keeping in mind their winning factor among other issues. He said, BJP is known for promoting  youths in elections and this factor also be kept in mind in upcoming polls. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile,  the members of Grand Alliance or Mahajoth held a  meeting in Guwahati today.  Issues of seat sharing , common minimum program were discussed in the meeting in presence of Congress,  AIUDF leaders among others. The Mahajoth has welcomed the Bodoland People's Front,  BPF into the alliance. The BPF last night announced to snap ties with the BJP and to join Congress led grand alliance.</span><br />
