The Prime Minister today maintained that development of states is essential for India to progress. Mr. Narendra Modi said, Centre and States are not rivals or enemies and both should work together in this regard.

Addressing the fourth Global Investor Summit organized by Madhya Pradesh government in Indore, Mr Modi told investors that the Make In India initiative is to tell the world that India is not only a market but is full of ample opportunities.

Mr. Modi also said, employment generation is the topmost priority in development agenda of the government. He emphasised that public-private partnership will be encouraged.
