Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday said that destiny of the nation is charted by its youth. <br/><br/>Addressing the National Conference on Jobs and livelihood Creation organized by the NITI Aayog in New Delhi on Thursday, Mr Naidu said, there is a need to create appropriate opportunities to harness potential of youth. <br/><br/>He said, good education, training in tune with industry requirements, health facilities and buoyant labour market are crucial for individual's gainful employment. <br/><br/>He also said, the country's demographic advantage is an opportunity to access gainful employment through appropriate skilling not just to meet the domestic requirements but also the requirements of the ageing economies of the world. <br/><br/>The Vice President said, private sector participation is needed for faster implementation of the government's employment generation programmes.
