International fame Desert Festival will begin in Jaisalmer in Rajasthan from today. Various cultural and folk programmes will be organized during the 3 day event.The festival will begin with a shobha yatra starting from gadsisar sarovar. On the first day turban competition and Mr Desert competition would be organized. Various camel competitions including camel polo, camel decoration and camel race are the main attractions of desert festival. Thousands of foreign tourists are also present in Jaisalmer to participate in the festival.
