The Deputy Election Commissioner Vinod Zutshi who is now on tour to West Bengal, today held video conference with the SP’s and DM’s of 6 districts of North Bengal. Besides this Mr. Zutshi also held meetings with the state Home Secretary Mr. Gyandutt Goutam, the state Police Chief Mr. Naparajito Mukherjee and Kolkata’s Police Commissioner Mr. Goutam Mohan Chakraborty. The Vice Chief Election Commissioner told news reporters that he had meetings with top officials of 20 districts. He said that the discussions mainly centered around the law and order situation and election preparedness in the districts.
