Deputy Director General of All India Radio Neeraj Goel was killed in road accident in Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh yesterday.<br/><br/> Goel was hit by a speeding car on Meerut-Rohta road near Gagan Enclave colony, in which he was badly injured, while the car driver fled with the vehicle.<br/><br/> When brought to Meerut district hospital, doctors declared him dead. A complaint has been lodged against unknown persons. Goel was posted in Delhi but was in Meerut to supervise the construction work of new station of AIR at Qila Road in the city.
